Family Dispute Resolution Toolkit

About the project

There has been a huge increase in the number of people experiencing private law family disputes who cannot afford a lawyer since publicly funded legal aid for these disputes was withdrawn in 2013. Combining the expertise in front line service delivery of Citizens Advice and research-based evidence on the needs of this group, the aim of the project is to work with Citizens Advice, Teignbridge to design, pilot and evaluate an evidence-based and user-friendly app that will enable individuals to take practical and informed steps to resolve private family law disputes.
