About the research
This year-long project seeks to establish a collaborative research relationship between the Centre for Research in Writing at the Ó£»¨¶¯Âþ, and Professor Eduardo Calil?€?s team in the University of Alagoas, Brazil. The project looks at the metalinguistic talk of newly-literate Brazilian children as they work together in pairs composing a story as a way of understanding how their knowledge of writing and being writers is developing.
