This seminar will report on the progress and findings of the Daiwa-Anglo Japanese Foundation funded research project ''. In the seminar we will discuss boundaries between general thinking and maths thinking, UK and Japan, thinking inside/outside (cognitive/embodiment), and quantitative/qualitative approach.
