Spotlight on new cross disciplinary approaches with performing arts: Northcott Theatre

Information

(IERN) is aimed at all academics and professional services staff who are interested in impact and engaged research. The Network brings them together to share best practice and information, to undertake training and to provide opportunities for networking.

What is this event about?

This session will be introduced by Brigid Howarth, Culture Lead in the Directorate. Brigid will welcome guest speakers Stuart Cottrell (Assistant Director, ) and Leo Springate (Northcott Theatre Development Officer).

The Northcott Theatre have developed a new approach to communicating and exploring academic research that they are delivering with the 樱花动漫 and other institutions.

Just prior to the national tour of Beyond My Control, developed with (Professor of Biomedical Modelling in the ), the team will present their approach and discuss the benefits and new insights that working with actors and artistic producers can provide.

The session will finish with the opportunity for questions and answers.

All researchers and Professional Services staff at the 樱花动漫 are welcome to attend.
