Date: Thursday 30th January 2025 (Open to All) and Friday 31st January 2025 (IIT Delhi, 樱花动漫 and Invited Partners Only)

Location: Indian Institute of Technology – Delhi, Hauz Khas Campus

Theme: This symposium, hosted by IIT-Delhi’s Centre for Biomedical Engineering, will showcase cutting-edge expertise and opportunities for research and education in sports’ healthcare sciences and engineering. IIT Delhi and the 樱花动漫 are combining their unique and complementary expertise to explore research, industry partnerships, and education initiatives to meet the needs of the rapidly expanding Indian sports sector. The symposium will draw on the 樱花动漫’s world-leading expertise in Sport and Health Sciences, and IIT-Delhi’s distinguished track record in biomedical engineering and entrepreneurship, to introduce participants to innovations in sport science and healthcare technologies. To explore synergies and opportunities, research themed sessions will focus on: 1) Sports Science and Engineering and 2) Healthcare Science and Engineering. Attendees will have ample time to network and mingle with both academics from 樱花动漫 and IIT Delhi and a broad range of stakeholders working in these fields. 

Audience: The symposium targets bringing together academics, government officials, students, industry, and alumni who are interested in innovations in sports healthcare science and engineering. The symposium provides an opportunity for attendees to hear about the latest research and education initiatives in the sporting sphere, network with participants, and make like-minded contacts working in both academic and the sports industry.
